2012 Mini Album

When October Afternoons Make it Merry Collection came out I knew I wanted to do something special with it. So I decided to do a Mini Album that I found on clearance at my local SS (scrapbook store). The book was originally white which I wasn't crazy about because the paper line used a more off white color so I decided to take my TH (Tim Holtz) Walnut distress ink & my handy dandy Doubers and Colored the whole book to look like leather. I then used a piece of the 8x8 Make it Merry paper & I cut it down to 6x6 to fit the cover. I distressed the edges of the paper with my TH walnut ink  & then cut another piece of paper 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 and layered it on top of the cover sheet. I used the Make it Merry Chipboard numbers & used my Mister Hueys Mistables to color them red. I used the Sew easy banners from the collection to make a cute banner across the top. I love how the cover of this book turned out.

On the inside of the book I used lots and lots of paper from the 8x8 paper pad, and decorated each page with the Make it Merry Miscellany Kit & Badge pins.

I love twine so I try to use it on 90% of my projects. I also used buttons from the make it merry collection also. I love OA(October Afternoons) buttons, I always have tons left over from each collection but always seem to find another project to use them on. Hope you enjoyed this fun little project.
